Carol Matwiczyk

Carol Matwiczyk originally hails from New England and, for the past 35+ years, Palm Beach, FL. The daughter of a Naval officer, she traveled with her parents and sisters yearly, and her curiosity about the world continue today. As her husband so aptly states, “Carol is happiest when packing for the airport.”

Carol has always lived on an island whether it be north or south, and island living has afforded her the opportunity to engage in her passion for competitive sailing and interacting with global sailors. She races her One Design sailboat, C Fever, from June through September in the waters of coastal Maine.

Last fall, after traveling with her sister Jessica (a Currie & Co. travel advisor) and meeting the team, Carol asked to be a part of the excitement and joined the Currie team. Carol finds nothing more exciting than to plan that next trip for herself or for others. She finds each “port-of-call” an opportunity to meet interesting and like-minded travelers and to connect with local cultures. Carol’s enthusiasm for adventure travel will ensure that clients’ trip plans are extraordinary journeys, leaving a lifetime of memories.
